Cascade Chorale Director James Knox presents an insightful look into the life and works of Mozart with emphasis on Mozart's Requiem, 4:00-6:00 p.m., Bend Senior Center, 1600 SE Reed Market. This program is free to all. Appetizers and beverages will be served. Info: 383-7512. CAFE LIBRI AT THE SUNRIVER LIBRARY:

At Cafe Libri this month is duo Deb Yager and Bo Reynolds. "You can call us singer/songwriters with an Austin twist," says Yager. A former ad executive who'd lived the good life from NYC to Key West, New Orleans to Hawaii, Yager traded in the champagne & caviar for something more substantial; the call of her heart. She sold all her material possessions and moved to Austin, Texas to follow her dream of becoming a musician. Yager's music combines heartfelt, down to earth lyrics with a "voice from heaven."
CASCADE WINDS SYMPHONIC BAND IN CONCERT: March 2 & 3
The Cascade Winds Symphonic Band will present the second concert series of
its 2007-2008 season on March 2 and 3, under the direction of Dan Judd. The
Sunday concert will begin at 2:00 p.m. and the Monday performance at 7:30 p.m.,
both at Summit High School auditorium. These concerts are free of charge,
although donations are gratefully accepted. Info: 593-1635
MUSIC IN PUBLIC PLACES: March 9
Sunday March 9, 2:00-3:00 p.m., Upstairs at the Bend Public Library
The Cascade Chamber Players String Quartet, part of the Central Oregon Symphony, will be featured.
MOZART'S REQUIEM IN MARCH: March 15 & 16
Mozart's Requiem will be performed by over 120 singers from the Cascade
Chorale, Central Oregon Mastersingers and COCC College Choir, four guest
soloists, and orchestra, Saturday, March 15, 7:00 p.m., & Sunday, March 16,
2:00 p.m., at the Summit High School auditorium, 2855 NW Clearwater Drive.
General admission is $10. Tickets may be available at the door but to
