Concert Dates, Fall Rehearsal Schedule, Music Pick-up

Greetings to all past, present and, hopefully, future Cascade Winds members. This note is going out to everyone who played in the Spring & Summer and some of you who have played in the recent past. So some of you may get more than one copy. (I promise to clean up my database with the new fall group)

Concert Dates: The Fall concert dates and the rehearsal schedule has been posted. As you can these concerts are earlier in the term than in the past (November 5 & 6) so we have less rehearsal time. Therefore, our first rehearsal is scheduled the week before COCC starts fall quarter, Thursday, September 14. Be sure to put all dates on your calendar now and especially the concert dates. Michael needs to know that you will be at both concerts.

Are You Playing?: I would very much like to know ASAP who will be playing in the fall so I can copy music ahead of time. Please e-mail me letting me know whether you plan to play or not.

Music Pick-Up: And, if you are going to play, you may pick up your music next week and get practicing. We only have 8 rehearsals so we can use all the head start we can get!!

I will be in Pence next Tuesday, August 15, 4:30-6:30 and Wednesday, August 16, 12:30-2:30. If neither of those times work for you, let me know and we’ll see what we can figure out.
